Also, lemme explain the naked pictures quick. The headstand ones are after a bath, but the sleeping one is because Julia sometimes protests bedtime by taking off her clothes and yells while in her crib. We check on her once to see if there's anything really wrong, but after that we just let her work at it a bit till she falls asleep. Every once in a while she falls asleep naked and I have to get a diaper and jammers on her again.
The audio is me finally turning on the recorder on my phone so that Julia didn't see me do it, cause every time she sees me, she stops singing.

The video is from Ben's "Spring Sing". Their pre-school went to the Middleton High School theatre thing and each class had a presentation. He did very good in all his songs!
Meanwhile outside, it finally started to get nice around here, until the weather remembered that this is Wisconsin and just went crazy.
But, while it was nice out, we were able to go for a nice long walk on the nearby railroad tracks. Ben wanted to find rocks to take home, so I told him he could take as many as he could carry. He was pretty excited about it, until he began to realize there was a limit to how many rocks he could carry...and that it was a long way home. To his credit, he did carry several of them all the way home. Julia noticed Ben had 2 big rocks, so she grabbed 2 big ones (and kept saying, "Look daddy, big ones!") and carried them the whole track and then a couple blocks. Though she stumbled several times and switched them without noticing. It was a fun walk, but one of the annoying things is that her shoes were starting to get too small, so the velcro kept coming undone and so she would insist that I fix them...every, four, steps. Kind of annoying. We got new shoes the day after. Nothing like bending over to fix shoes every 3 feet to help you to remember to go get the kids new shoes.Julia's been copying her brother, of course. She's been doing it her whole life, which is why she's so advanced.
Sometimes that's not a good thing.
Ben's got battleship for his birthday so we've been playing that pretty regularly. No matter how many times we play, he doesn't seem to understand that there's a lot more opportunity to miss than to hit. So I say, "Go ahead Ben, you go first" and he says "A1" (or whatever) and I inevitably say, "Miss" and instantly he pulls out the angry face and starts getting huffy. We're working on that.
Beth's been in New Orleans the past couple days, but she's back tomorrow! Woo hoo!
