Awake...so now what?

So Ben has been doing better at being awake and not crying. That means however, that we've had to figure what to do with him! It's not like you can practice reading or play peak-a-boo with him. And though you're sposed to make sure infants get set on their stomachs for enough tummy time, Ben is not a big fan of being away from warm arms and if he's set on his tummy too soon after eating he returns the food. This means that tummy time usually takes place on our chests a while after eating and Ben practices lifting himself from there.
We also occasionally dress Ben up. Poor guy. We got so many nice designer infant clothes that we feel bad not putting some of it on him now and then. The problem is, the designer clothes are not easy to get on and off and so using them can make Ben frustrated and makes it hard for mom and dad to change him.
Lately, Beth has been taking Ben in the tub with her because he likes it and it's easier to clean him that way. I'm not sure if it's just the way babies are made, or because he's filled with so much gas, but he really floats in the tub. In order to wash his chest you really have to push him down under the water. It's kinda weird.
Of course one of the last things we do with Ben when he is awake is try to get him back to sleep.
