We're having pizza for supper. Emil's pizza? Ever have that? I've never put much stock in free food at the grocery store. I figure it's usually stuff that isn't selling so well, so it must suck. But I eat it anyway.
I tasted the sample of Emil's pizza at Woodman's (coincidentally, Emil is Ben's middle name, after his grandfather) and it was awesome. I brought it home for Beth, and she loves it. It's made locally, as in, in Wisconsin, so it's more fresh than Jack's or something else of that nature.
So we're having that for dinner. Sausage and mushroom is our favorite (and Beth normally hates mushrooms), but they were out of that, so our options are pepperoni, cajun chicken or sausage.
I picked up some children's books for Ben from the Middleton Library. After being reminded of all the just plain awful children's books out there, I'm renewed in my desire to continue my children's book efforts. I have a story that I've been reading to Ben for quite a while now (it's one I wrote for Beth and used real pictures, as well as a blue bear I drew on the photos, and made a real hardcover book out of), but I'm working on drawing out the whole story rather than using pictures of shabby 'ol me. The pictures look good, but it takes a while to draw them well and then I have to ink them and color them, so it's a long process...one which my procrastinatory nature feels quite strongly against.
