Teeth

Ben is teething again, but this time he's getting 4 at once, which is the most reasonable explanation for why we don't remember anything till at least two years of age.

His temp reached 104 (possibly higher, I only took it once) at one point and we had several nights in a row of....oh, what, you guessed it already? That's right, no sleep. You're a very astute reader. Have I complained about sleep before or something? How odd...

He's not eaten well for 3 or 4 days now and if his nooker leaves his mouth, his fingers will proceed to be systematically gnawed off. It's not pretty.

Luckily, the fever is gone, and now he's just in pain, which will hopefully pass soon. The upside to his fever is that he is far more snugly than he's normally inclined to be, which makes Beth quite happy (which balances out the melancholy produced by him not feeling good).

Also, as a side note, besides the words you see in the video, he's also learning some animal noises. He now sort of "roars" like a lion (the nicest, cutest lion you've ever met), which he picked up from cousin Cayden (and that's actually how he refers to Cayden), and snorts like a pig, and if you've never heard a baby snort like a pig, it's also pretty darn cute.

(and that picture with Beth and Ben on the couch at the intro was taken in the middle of the night, the night he woke up like 5 times. If I remember right, we thought it was a temperature issue or a hunger issue, but I now realize it must have been the start of his teething)
