It went pretty well considering how unpredictable Ben is at the moment. Our friends' kids were quite interested (and a little alarmed) by Ben and his crying.
Seth and Michelle brought their daughter Ava (she was the one who was very concerned with Ben's crying) from Illinois up to visit.
Shortly after that we had some more visitors from Illinois, Beth's friends Holly and Steve and their son Matt. Matt is almost four and is quite a bundle of energy. A little reminder as to just how much more work Ben will be. Woo hoo! Hopefully Jo will be in the states by then and can take him for a week or two at a time.
Tuesday we had Grandpa and Grandma Duffy stop by as well Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Mueller.
Ben also got to go visit Grandpa Anderson over the weekend. Mr. Josh Anderson decided that Dr. Mrs. Beth Anderson had hit the point where she would collapse if she didn't get some sleep, so he took little cranky Ben Anderson over to Tim. The car ride over didn't calm Ben (it's only a 3 min car ride...), and the warm porch didn't help much either, but Grandpa Anderson, also known in certain arenas as "The Human Pacifier", was able to get the job done, and Ben was knocked out after that for a good hour.

I'm jealous---how does one get an invite to visit??? Do I have to bring brownies or cake??? Marcia
Anytime Marsh, just call ahead! =)
Hey- at least you have the option of visiting! I'm planning on coming home in July though..
It's tough to see the little guy - I live "around the corner" and I haven't seen him for 2 weeks! I'm still working on a way to sneak a peek soon! Grandma A.
i just had some time to watch the top video for the first time ..... "qquuuuaaaaaiiiddddd"
My boy is not a mutant! Though I'm not ruling out his leadership of the mutiny on mars in the distant future.
He's just so cute, I can hardly stand it. I have to watch him try to eat that pillow at least twice a day. You're doing a great job. Hang in there.
