I'd love to recap our first day home, and our first doctor visit, but things are moving just too quickly. Ben came out fast, peed fast, nursed fast, and apparently he's growing fast. Yesterday he just said "Dad!"
Ok, we both know he didn't, but he could any day now, I can feel it.
First, before I recap several other firsts, lemme thank the Lord on this public blog site because of all the yes answers he gave to our prayers. Not many times do you find a pregnancy that went this well, a birth that went this well (not to mention quickly and probably as near to the least amount of pain you can have in a healthy natural birth), a baby this healthy and strong, parents that are getting this much sleep, a baby that is feeding this much, and a circumcision that seems to be healing so well. Sometimes God gives "No's" here and there for his own reasons, but we give thanks to God for the overwhelming amounts of blessings we've received.
I'd also like to quickly thank Ben's Grandparents. When we got home both sets of Grandparents brought us pre-made meals and groceries. It's yet another blessing to have both sets only 5 blocks away and be so helpful. (It's Beth's parents in the video, if you want to see pics of mine, you'll have to check my dad's site: http://www.afap.smugmug.com/gallery/4624810_gB29Y#272915437
Lastly, thanks to all our friends who sent flowers, called, sent emails, wanted to come visit, etc. We got some good friends!
Anyway, first day home went well (Ben, ate, cried and slept). Second day we had a doctor's visit (Ben did the same things).
Friday we did some stuff...
