Benjamin Emil Anderson, born on March 31st, 2008. 7lbs 8oz, 19 inches long, born at 7:43 am at Meriter Hospital.
Beth had started having light contractions on March 30th (Sunday night), at about 10pm. While I slept in a peaceful and quite oblivious state, she ate Fruity Pebbles and contracted in the living room.
I noticed Beth wasn't near me at 2am and got up to find her sitting on the exercise ball in the living room. It was at this point that her contractions started getting a little more intense. At around 3:30 her contractions became somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes apart, usually a sign to head to the hospital. But Beth wasn't sure she was having the baby quite yet.
I was of a different mind, and began to shower. That was when her water broke and we decided that perhaps now would be a good time to head to the hospital.
We arrived around 5:30 and found that Beth was already at about 6cm. Her contractions came hard and fast, giving her between 30 seconds and a minute between each. By 7 she was at around 9 cm and by 7:30 she was able to push. 1, 2, 3 pushes and wham, we got us a baby! Benjamin was so glad to be out that he promptly peed all over the doctor. With the exception of the natural pain involved with child birth, mom was fine and baby was fine.
Welcome to Wisconsin Benjamin!

Congrats guys, sounds like an incredibly fortunate delivery... not that we have anything to compare against. Have fun. =)
