Classic "Who Can Be Quiet the Longest" game. In reverse.
Julia has been getting some new teeth, which of course means trouble sleeping, not eating very much and generally being a bit cranky.

Ben has been doing homework on abcmouse.com and I started making sure we get in some writing practice for upper and lower case letters as well as numbers. I'm also making him read small words every once in a while. He's been doing that for 6 months or so now, but he doesn't like doing it, so I'm trying to just work a little word in here and there to keep up practice but keep frustration down.

Beth is working. A lot. She's been in at 7 each day and worked well past 8 each night this week. She had a day off on Monday...which she decided not to take and went into work instead.

I've been cleaning the house, practicing drums (when I can, which isn't very often) and practicing guitar (I can play the electric without the amp while Julia is napping). I also had a volleyball tournament last weekend that we took second in. I've changed my workout routine so that I'm pretty much doing sprints, intermixed with some weights, for an hour straight every day. It's draining. I've also been eating a grapefruit for breakfast, a spinach salad (with kale, tomatoes, red and yellow peppers, carrots and broccoli) for lunch and then a normal dinner....and haven't lost any weight. It's a bit disappointing. Getting old is no fun!

Yeah...good to read (and listen to) such a good blog! Josh...awesome drumming! Too bad Beth is missing out on so much. Your schedule sounds grueling...your diet even more so...
Love, Nana
Na, I like that food. Annoying it's not really doing anything for me though.
