Eating

Eating is a big thing around the Anderson house. We take it quite seriously. Mom and Dad like to have their meals together, and Benjamin likes to have his served promptly, warm, and in plentiful portions.
Mom can handle Ben's meals no problem. It's like goin to the bar and putting your head under the tap. It's when Daddy's the bartender that problems occur. Daddy insists on serving his customers rather than allow them to drink from the tap, but the customers don't always want the same amount. If you're not following me, Ben = customers. It's a metaphor.
So, throughout the day, Ben wakes up screaming for milk, and daddy brings him his meal. Daddy has learned to start warming up his meal well ahead of time, but unfortunately, Ben eats anywhere from 1 to 5 ounces, and despite your best guesses, he'll usually fool you. This results in either milk that needs to be tossed or a baby that's hungry for more milk and ends up eating for an hour straight because daddy is not sure if just one more ounce will placate him. It's not so bad because daddy is usually right, and when he's under, he can usually use the nook to settle little Ben down till more food is ready.
That's just how eating goes I guess. Where would we be in life if we knew everything that was coming anyway? Bored, that's where!
