4 months old

I've been lax in my updating because free time is a luxury at the moment. I've been selfishly using these moments to breathe.
Ben's doing quite well! We just had our four month old check up and he is 95th percentile for height (woo hoo! 6'2" is the estimate now), 75th for weight and 50th for head size. He also just had his shots which knocked him on his butt for a night a day and a night.
So we're quite pleased with his percentiles...but what do you root for if you have a girl? Do you cheer for 50 height, 20 weight and 50 head? It's disconcerting really and I'll have to consider this weighty matter heavily before our next child, just in case she's a she.
Sleep is still a problem, especially since we doing the doctor recommended letting him learn to go to sleep by himself. The technique involves setting him down with a nooker and a blankie, standing or sitting next to him (but not facing him) until he cries, picking him up to settle him, then setting him down till he cries again or falls asleep. Best odds are usually on crying.
Last night was fun because nothing daddy or mommy did could settle him down for like an hour. Mommy took over for daddy cause mommy didn't mind since she doesn't get to hold him as much as she would like. Daddy put on his headset and played Warcraft III. Ahhhhhh.
Oh, and the video? That's for my sister Beth. Just under four months, sitting, for short periods, on his own. Take that cousin Cayden!!! =)
I think he'd sit longer, but his toes are just so appetizing.

Actually Josh Cayden could do what Ben is doing now just before he was 4 months old...he was nearly 5 months when he could sit for hours at a time unassisted without falling over...just for the record ;)

Oh, those tasty little toes. Ben looked so proud of himself as he looked up at you guys to see if you were watching him.

You are both lying, no way. I am 28 years old, I cannot sit for hours at a time, especially without falling over
