Ben's first haircut! Beth did a great job...of course she practiced on me first. The whole time she was cutting my hair, Ben kept whimpering and saying, "Uh oh!". He was voicing my inner thoughts.
Both our haircuts turned out great though! It's nice to know that if the whole Radiation Oncologist thing falls through, Beth has a backup career of professional stylist.
The one downside to the haircut, as good as it is, is that we feel it might actually make Ben look even more like a girl, instead of less. Maybe we just have to get used to it, but it seems to bring out his big cheeks and soft-Beth-like features.
So now when we're at the park, instead of thinking my son is a little girl in boys clothes (which has happened several times recently), other parents will think my son is a very butch little girl in boys clothes. Great. =)

Great job on Ben's haircut Beth! MUCH, MUCH better than I ever did on Jordan or Josh - especially Josh - I really chopped it badly - the first and last time I did it. Josh's first haircut was with a real barber. Ben looks adorable, but I do have to admit I miss the curls already!

Very cute haircut. Don't worry, Ben doesn't look like a girl, he just isn't very manly yet, and he's not supposed to be. I love big soft baby cheeks, although they might be even harder to resist, now that they're out in the open. And good job on the talking, too, Ben. "Scissors"....wow.
