Thanks all for the congrats!
Though I'm a little disappointed in the lack of excitement about our Christmas banjo.
Steve Martin plays the banjo (he was even invited to Carnegie Hall!). Perhaps you failed to see the connection between playing the banjo and being successful.
I could name other successful banjo players...but I'd have to look them up first...
Today was rainy again. I started off at 5:30am sprinting in the rain, followed that up with cars and trains, and then took the metro to Gymboree. It was fun, as usual, and Ben is feeling a bond to Maximus (real name) who's about the same age. Maximus speaks French, and they never actually play together, but Ben watches what he does and says stuff like "Maximus is in the boat!"
It will be nice to get back to a place with English speaking kids. Hopefully we can find a consistent playmate. Ben's cousin Cayden plays fairly well with Ben, but there's a bit of an age gap, so I think Cayden sometimes gets a little bored playing with Ben after a while. Maybe we can get something going with Joseph if the Bluhms can fit something like that in. Otherwise, luckily, a few of my friends have kids nearly the same age as Ben and we might be able to get something going on a weekly basis with one of them.
I think I need to figure out something though, because he definitely needs a consistent playmate(s) near his age at this point.
And now I need to sleep, because it's late, and I used the word "something" 4 times in the past three sentences. Repetitive word usage is a big no-no in the world of writing, but I'm too tired to change it, so there.
See ya tomorrow! *Big Wave*

We'll have to try and get SOMETHING going, even if it is on an irregular schedule. If we just hang out at home, I fear Joseph is going to finally figure out how to work the portable DVD player. Apparently he has figured out how to load a DVD into it already, just hasn't found the On button.
