Up at 11:30 cause my cold is keeping me up.
Pressing "Next Blog" on the top of this blog site can yield some very interesting results. For instance: will loony #1 please stand up?

If you stop to read any of it, try not to read too much. I'd hate to be held responsible for helping to spread crazy.
Now technically Christians are supposed to band together, focus on Jesus as our savior and not worry about the fine print of other Christian doctrines (catholics, methodists, lutherns, etc.), but does Gnostic Christian Mystic really count??
If you look like a duck and act like a duck, but call yourself a goose...should the geese have to respect that? As a goose, I lean towards no. I would have to say actions speak louder than words, though these words from his site speak rather loudly:
*Picture of a girl with a mask over her face* "Lately, my visions have been coming back to me. So in addition to the wondrous, fullness of ecstatic darkness, visions like those of two years are coming back, but shorter, more focused, more intense, more fleeting. I chose this picture really just because i like it. But, in a way, it captures the divine 'flirtation' with us. S/he hides behind many masks. It is up to us to ask for the dance, and perhaps, be bold, and gently pull the mask aside."
Just found this when I searched for Gnostic Christian: http://www.thepearl.org/What_is_Gnosticism.htm
Basically, they believe that salvation is found through knowledge, specifically the knowledge that Jesus gave them. They mention nothing about grace or about our sins being forgiven because Jesus was sacrificed on our behalf.
So now I don't have to worry about whether or not I'm talking bad about someone elses idea of how Christianity should be lived out.
But, where do people come up with stuff like this??
And I am well aware that this isn't the craziest stuff out there, but I'm afraid to look into what's weirder...

The Gnostic Christian's do sound very strange. So weird in fact, that I'm gonna go with what you discovered and look no farther! What can one say in response to your discovery??? Regarding your lack of "normal" food, I was thinking that I could send a container of bacon bits and you could use it in omlettes, salads, etc. Maybe there is some other food item that would withstand the trip. Let me know. xxx Mom/Nana
