Not a lot to tell and not a lot of time to tell it in. Which actually works out quite well I guess.
A rainy day today, the temperatures are still in the upper 50's during the morning and upper 60's during the afternoon.
We played trains most of the morning, then when I decided it was close to trampoline opening time (they open at 11), I got us ready to head out. Apparently the rain saw me getting ready through the window and came a tumblin' down.
I'm pretty sure I heard it laughing.
So, we left the stroller and we just took the trash down. We were gonna head back up to the apartment, but Ben said, "Let's go outside!" I told him it was raining, but despite his streak of not wanting to leave the apartment, he was quite adamant about going out.
I took him over to this place I know with really big escalators which isn't too far away and we went down, then ran down a hall and found a moving walkway, so we ran on that, then we found another escalator up, so we rode that. Then we went back the other way. Ben had fun chasing me.
Then we went into this giant mall and ...
Well, wait, lemme explain. We went into this GIANT mall. It's across the street from us and I had no idea how big it was inside. I've never been to the mall of America, and the Gallery's Lafayette may not be quite as big, but it's ten times bigger than any mall I've ever been in. There's six or seven levels and a ton, just a ton of...stuff. If you are a hedonistic materialist with lots of money, this could possibly be considered heaven. The pictures are of the mall. They are of poor quality because I thought they might yell at me for taking pictures, like they did in the last store, so I just brought my little camera and didn't hold it still for as long as I needed to.
Anyway, we had a small snack and walked around it a bit before heading home for more trains.
Beth came home early today to work at home for a bit. We had dinner, she's giving Ben a bath, and when he goes to bed, she'll be back on the computer working.
